Karachi: Pakistan is caught very badly between Afghanistan and Balochistan. Pakistan has to face terrorist attacks every day due to messing with Balochistan and Afghanistan. In the latest case, some armed masked people again opened fire on a police patrol vehicle in Balochistan province, in which three policemen were killed, while two other policemen were injured. This incident has again given a shock to Pakistan.
It is being told that this incident happened in Sariab area of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. Three policemen including a police inspector were killed and two others were injured in this attack. A senior police officer said that the policemen deployed on patrol were sitting in their van near a tea shop, when they were attacked. Regional police officer Khuda Baksh said, “Some armed masked people riding on two motorcycles opened fire on the policemen.”
Attacks happening every day in Balochistan
Some attack or the other is happening every day in Balochistan. Just a day earlier, a soldier of the Army’s Frontier Corps was killed in a gun attack in the Noshki area. Guerrilla-style attacks on security personnel have become common in the restive Balochistan province. Pakistan’s Baloch insurgent groups often target security personnel, government projects and the US$60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in this oil and mineral-rich province.
