Supaul: In Veerpur of the district, a father has committed rape with his own 15-year-old minor daughter. The victim has recorded a written statement before Child Welfare Committee Supaul member Afsari Aslam regarding the incident of rape by her father. In her statement, the victim told that her father raped her several times. On Thursday night once again her father tried to beat and rape her. Meanwhile, after getting information about the incident, the police has started investigating the matter.

Information was given on helpline number 1098

Child Helpline and Child Welfare Committee member Afsari Aslam reached Veerpur to record the statement of the victim regarding this incident. Officer Aslam said that we received information on helpline number 1098 that a minor girl has been raped by her father and she is seeking help from the child helpline. After getting the information, when we reached the subdivision hospital Veerpur, the girl was scared. When the minor was interrogated, he revealed the incident.

Based on the statement of the minor by the members of Child Helpline, FIR number 207/24 has been filed in Veerpur police station regarding the incident. Further, the member of the Child Welfare Committee said that the minor victim has also told about her elder sister being raped by her father. At the same time, the victim had also informed her mother about this crime, but it appears that the victim’s mother has also tried to hide this misdeed. This is a serious crime.
