Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has sought a response from the Central Government regarding the increasing cyber crimes. The court has issued a notice to the Center on the petition directing TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to implement the Calling Presentation Service (CNAP).

The PIL mentions the increasing threat of unwanted calls, cyber crime and nuisance. At the same time, Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna considered this matter very serious during the hearing. He said that we know that cyber crime is a big issue. In such a situation, it cannot be ignored. The bench headed by CJI Sanjeev Khanna said that we understand that there is a problem. The Center should respond.

Cyber ​​crime is increasing in the country

The petition regarding increasing cyber crimes in the country has been filed by Bengaluru resident Gaurishankar S. The petition mentions the increasing threat of cyber crime fraud in the country and its impact on citizens, law enforcement officials and other agencies like RBI, commercial banks etc. It has been said that cyber crime in the country has reached a very dangerous level, due to which people are facing financial loss and trouble.

Supreme Court issued notice to the Central Government
The bench headed by CJI Sanjeev Khanna said that we understand that there is a problem. The Center should respond. The court has issued a notice to the central government on a PIL to direct telecom network operators to implement CNAP (Calling Name Presentation Service). Complaints of cyber crime are coming continuously. So far many people have become its victims. However, people are being constantly alerted about this.
