Tel Aviv: The Israeli army is continuously targeting Hezbollah’s bases in Lebanon. Israel has caused heavy damage to Hezbollah in the air strikes carried out so far. Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Force has said that it will soon start an operation on the southern coast of Lebanon. The Israeli army has warned residents and fishermen in a 60-kilometer area of the Mediterranean Sea to stay away from the coast. It was not clarified in the army’s statement what kind of operation will be carried out.
‘Citizens stay away from the beaches’
It is worth noting that, as part of the military operation against Hezbollah, the Israeli army is carrying out air strikes in southern Lebanon as well as ground operations in the border areas. In a statement, the army has asked the residents living south of Lebanon’s Awali river to stay away from the beaches keeping in mind their safety.
Israeli attacks continue
Meanwhile, let us also tell you here that, Israel is continuously carrying out fierce attacks on Lebanon. On Monday too, Israel had launched a major attack on South Lebanon, in which 10 firefighters were killed. Lebanon’s Health Ministry had said after the attack that more people were buried under the rubble. The ministry had also expressed apprehension that the death toll may increase. It was also said that the firefighters were in a municipal building in the city of Barachit. The attack took place when the firefighters were preparing to go out on a rescue operation.
