Mayem (Goa): The Aam Aadmi Party has made a major announcement regarding Goa. The party has clearly stated that it will not form an alliance with the Congress in Goa. AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced on Saturday that his party will not form any alliance with the Congress in Goa.
Kejriwal accused the Congress of betraying the people of the state. In a press conference, he alleged that the Congress supplies its MLAs in bulk to the BJP.
What else did Kejriwal say?
Kejriwal said, “Under no circumstances will there be an alliance with the Congress party. The Congress has betrayed the people of Goa the most. Between 2017 and 2019, 13 Congress MLAs joined the BJP, and in 2022, 10 more Congress MLAs joined the BJP. Can they assure us that no Congress MLA will join the BJP after winning? The Congress supplies its MLAs in bulk to the BJP.”
Kejriwal inaugurated the local office in the Mayem constituency today and called for the overthrow of the BJP government in the upcoming assembly elections. Kejriwal said, “The BJP and Congress are part of the same rotten system, and this system must be uprooted. Today, all of Goa is controlled by only 13-14 families. Only the people of Goa should have the right to Goa’s resources.”
Change is coming to Goa: Kejriwal
Kejriwal said, “The crowd that gathered at today’s meeting shows that change is coming to Goa. All our workers in Goa deserve congratulations for their courage in confronting the BJP’s hooliganism.
We were conducting a signature campaign to repair Goa’s roads when BJP goons attacked our workers. We were not intimidated, and the next day, even more of our workers arrived there and completed the campaign. You all deserve congratulations for this courage.”
He said, “Today, Goa is not safe; the public is scared. But enough is enough. The Aam Aadmi Party will end this fear. AAP will fight against the injustice being done to the people of Goa.”
