The blame game is at its peak in the election-bound state of Bihar. Leaders from both the NDA and the Grand Alliance are leaving no stone unturned to attack each other. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is at the center of attacks by the Grand Alliance, especially Tejashwi Yadav. The RJD and Tejashwi Yadav have repeatedly raised questions about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s health. Senior JDU leader KC Tyagi has countered these attacks.
KC Tyagi said that Tejashwi Yadav is making such allegations and should not be trusted. He said nothing about Nitish Kumar’s health when he was Deputy CM. KC Tyagi said that Tejashwi Yadav was Deputy CM of Bihar from August 2022 to January 2024, during which time he did not say anything about the CM’s health.

A senior JDU leader told The Indian Express, “In fact, Nitish Kumar’s health is much better than Lalu Prasad Yadav.” He said, “What I understand from my personal conversations with Nitish Kumar is that he is completely mentally alert right now.”
“Nitish Kumar does not need anyone’s support to walk.”
The JDU leader also said, “He does not need anyone’s support to walk. He is our star campaigner in this election. Nitish Kumar is still Bihar’s most trusted leader.”
It is noteworthy that the NDA is contesting the Bihar elections against 74-year-old Nitish Kumar. The opposition claims that Nitish Kumar will not become the Chief Minister of Bihar if the NDA wins the elections. However, Chirag Paswan, who is part of the NDA, has stated that NDA MLAs will choose Nitish Kumar as their leader after the elections and he will be the Chief Minister.
