The body of a 12-year-old boy with severe injuries was found on Friday in the Shastri Park area of ​​North East Delhi. The deceased child, identified as Altamash, was a seventh-grade student. He was murdered by his stepfather. The 12-year-old’s eyes had been gouged out, and he had been attacked with a weapon on his head.

The killer father gave the family horrific information
Altamash was returning from school with his older brother when his stepfather lured him away and murdered him on Thursday evening. When the killer stepfather told the family that he had killed Altamash, no one believed him.

Police teams deployed to apprehend the killer
He then sent a video to the family. Police teams launched an investigation, and Altamash’s body was found on Friday morning. The crime team and forensic team were called to the scene. The child’s body was sent to the mortuary at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. Several teams have been formed to apprehend the killer.

Evidence collected
Police said that a case has been registered at the Shastri Park police station under Section 103(1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The investigation has begun. The forensic team inspected the crime scene and collected evidence. Blood samples and other evidence found at the scene have been preserved for scientific analysis. Further investigation is underway.
