The police have been ordered to stop us, and believe me, they have been given permission to do whatever they want to us. This has never happened before in Pakistan. Qasim Khan, who lives in Britain, wrote on Instagram that Imran Khan has been held in a place for the past six weeks, where he is not allowed to contact anyone, and his family is not being informed. He wrote that he has no proof his father is alive. This statement sparked a political storm. Qasim and his brother generally stay away from politics, but this time circumstances forced them to come forward openly.
Attempts are being made to conceal Imran
Qasim says this situation is not a security measure but a deliberate plan to isolate his father. He alleges that despite court orders, the sisters have been denied access to the jail. Lawyers have also been denied access to the jail, further adding to the mystery surrounding the entire matter.
Imran Khan’s Security is Pakistan’s Responsibility
Qasim has appealed to the United Nations, international human rights organizations, and democratic governments around the world to pressure Pakistan to reveal Imran Khan’s true condition. He says that if anything untoward happens to Imran Khan, the Pakistani government will be directly responsible.

High-voltage drama unfolded at midnight outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s newly elected Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, has been staging a sit-in protest outside Adiala Jail since yesterday evening, demanding a meeting with Imran Khan. According to Afridi, he is staging the protest so that the international media can see how a Chief Minister is being denied access to Imran Khan, defying orders from the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court and High Courts.

The government’s stance is completely opposite. The jail administration declared that Imran Khan is not being harassed. According to them, Imran Khan is receiving facilities in jail that are not available to any ordinary prisoner. Pakistan’s Defense Minister even stated that Imran Khan has been provided with special food, gym facilities, and comfortable accommodations.
