The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the premises of Al-Falah University and conducted searches at 25 locations, including Okhla and Jamia Nagar in Delhi.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the premises of Faridabad’s Al-Falah University, which came into the spotlight after the Delhi bombings. The investigating agency raided 25 locations on Tuesday, including Okhla and Jamia Nagar areas in Delhi. The ED has been conducting searches since 5 a.m. at the premises of Al-Falah University, its trustees, and individuals/institutions associated with them. The institution is accused of financial irregularities. The ED is investigating funding.

Al Falah University is at the center of the investigation into the White Terror module. Previously, the Delhi Police issued two summons to the president of Al Falah University in connection with the investigation and two cases filed against the university for forgery and fraud.

Why was the summons issued?
The summons were issued after the agencies determined that the statement of the university’s chairman, Javed Ahmed Siddiqui, was crucial to clarifying several discrepancies related to the institution’s functioning and the activities of individuals associated with it. Police sources said the summons to Siddiqui is part of a broader investigation into the ongoing blast near the Red Fort last week.

Several suspects in the blast are believed to have links to the university, forcing investigators to examine institutional records, financial transactions, and administrative approvals.
