The conspiracy hatched to disrupt the Noida airport project has been exposed. This fake kidnapping was exposed after a joint operation by the police of Jewar police station and the SWAT team. They have rescued Hansraj and his family who were held hostage safely.
The police have arrested the mastermind of this entire plan, pilot Puttan Singh. Along with this, they have also arrested four other accused Pramod, Pawan Chaudhary, Saroj Bala and Rama Devi.
Kidnapped on the pretext of treatment
When questioned by the police, the accused told that they had done this kidnapping with the intention of obstructing the airport project and maintaining their dominance in the area. They told that on the night of 6 June 2025, Hansraj and his family were kidnapped on the pretext of getting treatment. They were first taken to Sector-135 in Noida in a BMW car, then taken to Maidan Garhi in Delhi. After which the family was hidden in the house of relative Rama Devi. The accused said that in the early morning of June 15, they were kept in Pawan Chaudhary’s farm house located in the secluded village of Dayanatpur.
Son filed writ in High Court
Police said that on June 2, Hansraj’s son Saurabh filed a Habeas Corpus writ in Allahabad High Court. In which he claimed that his parents and brother have been illegally detained by the police and administration. The court accepted the writ on June 9 and ordered to present the kidnapped on June 11.
Police engaged in investigation
The DCP of Greater Noida said that the police formed seven investigation teams to recover the kidnapped and started the search. He said that no concrete clue was found in the initial investigation. Meanwhile, on June 26, a case was registered in Jewar police station under section 140 (3) BNS on the complaint of Hansraj’s acquaintance Kamlesh. After which the investigation got a new direction. On the evidence found by the police during the investigation, the police raided the outskirts of Dayanatpur. In this operation, Hansraj, his wife Kamlesh Devi and son Saurabh were found safe by the police. Along with this, the police arrested five accused involved in this incident. The police has also recovered the BMW car used in this kidnapping.
