Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a visit to Maharashtra today. Where he will inaugurate Mumbai’s first underground metro line (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ) Mumbai Metro Line-3. Along with this, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of other development projects in Mumbai.
After a long wait of 10 years, underground metro service is now going to start in Mumbai. On Saturday, a 12.69 km section of Mumbai Metro Line-3 will be started between Aarey JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
These people will be involved in the inauguration program
Along with PM Modi, Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with many other officials, will be present in this program of metro inauguration.
PM Modi will meet the beneficiaries of Ladli Behen
PM Modi will reach BKC Metro Station to flag off Mumbai Metro Line-3. During this journey, he will interact with the beneficiaries of Ladli Behen, students and workers on board the train. PM Modi will also launch Metro Connect-3, a mobile app designed to enhance the travel experience with modern facilities.
Will unveil Metro’s coffee table book
A coffee table book showcasing the journey of Mumbai’s underground metro will also be unveiled by PM Modi. The book contains a collection of stunning visuals depicting the development of the metro.
Mumbai people will get a special experience

PM Modi will release PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi
After inaugurating Mumbai Metro Line-3, PM Modi will release the 18th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi of Rs 20,000 crore to about 9.4 crore farmers. With this installment, the total amount distributed under PM-Kisan will be around Rs 3.45 lakh crore.
