Protested against UAE security
This protest has been going on in Bangladesh for a long time, in which people have demanded improvement in the reservation system in government jobs, after which this protest increased so much that more than 120 people have lost their lives. A statement issued by the government said that the public prosecution has ordered them to be detained until further investigation, these arrested migrants have been accused of endangering the interests and security of the UAE and disrupting public order.
Bangladesh unrest becomes a challenge for PM
However, UAE officials have not given any information in any statement about when and where this protest took place or how many people are suspected of committing violence. Critics of the quota system for civil service jobs said that it benefits those who supported the 15-year rule of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The unrest spreading in Bangladesh is a big challenge for its 76-year-old prime minister, who has ruled the country since 2009 and won her fourth consecutive election in January after voting without any real opposition.
