This is the biggest attack in the Kashmir Valley after the Pulwama attack in 2019, which has once again shaken the nation. This cowardly act of terrorists took the lives of 30 people. Not only the country but all the countries around the world have expressed grief over the incident and condemned it.
US President Donald Trump called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed his condolences to the innocent people killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Trump strongly condemned the terrorist attack and expressed full support to India to bring the culprits of this heinous attack to justice. He said that India and America stand together in the fight against terrorism.
‘Israel is with India in the fight against terrorism’
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack. Expressing grief, he shared a post on social media in which he addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote, ‘My dear friend Narendra Modi, I am deeply saddened by the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which dozens of innocent people were killed and injured. Our condolences and prayers are with the victims and their families. Israel stands with India in the fight against terrorism’.
Along with this, Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed grief over the terrorist attack and wrote on social media, ‘I am deeply saddened by the heinous terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Our condolences are with the victims and their families. Israel stands united with India in the fight against terrorism’.
Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has expressed grief over the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. On social media, he said, ‘Deeply saddened by the terrorist attack in India today, in which many people were killed. Italy expresses its condolences to the affected families, the injured, the government and all the Indian people’.
Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the attack. In a social media post, the ministry said, “Sri Lanka strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir today. We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery”. It further said, “Sri Lanka stands in firm solidarity with the Government and people of India in the fight against all forms and manifestations of terrorism. We reiterate our unwavering commitment to regional peace and security”.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemns the attack
At the same time, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. In a social media post, he said, “We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack against tourists in Pahalgam. Our condolences are with the families of the victims and we wish all the injured a speedy recovery. Our heartfelt condolences to the people of India”.
‘Terrorism is unacceptable…’
Along with this, the United Arab Emirates also gave its reaction to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Condemning the attack, the UAE said that it permanently rejects all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability by violating international laws.

Apart from this, Guyana President Irfan Ali has also condemned the incident. He has said that it is hoped that those responsible for the attack will be brought to justice. President Irfan said on social media, ‘I am deeply saddened to learn about the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir, in which many people were killed and many were injured, this heinous act of violence is a sad reminder of the devastating impact of extremism. I condemn this brutal attack, which aims to create fear and suffering’.
JD Vance expressed grief over the incident
At the same time, US Vice President JD Vance, who came to India, has also condemned the terrorist attack and expressed his condolences to the people killed. On social media, he said, ‘Usha and I offer our condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. Over the last few days, we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of this country and its people. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this terrible attack’.
Tourists attacked in Baisaran Valley
On Tuesday (April 22), terrorists attacked tourists in Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, in which 30 people died, while many people were seriously injured. Two foreign nationals are also among the dead. One of them is an Israeli and one is an Italian citizen. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Jammu and Kashmir and will visit the site of the incident today.
