The seat-sharing plan within the NDA has been finalized. However, the All India Alliance is still undecided. The Grand Alliance is meeting in Delhi on Monday, October 13th, to discuss seat-sharing. Tejashwi Yadav and Mukesh Sahni will meet with Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. It’s possible that the seat-sharing arrangement within the Grand Alliance will be announced after this meeting. Tejashwi and Lalu Prasad Yadav have already arrived in Delhi. Just before leaving for Delhi, Mukesh Sahni gave Premsagar, also known as W. Yadav, the ticket for the Gopalpur seat.
The RJD is the main party in the Grand Alliance, but reaching a consensus among the allies is being delayed. Congress and Mukesh Sahni’s VIP party are demanding more seats, a point that has stalled. Furthermore, there’s no agreement on making Tejashwi the CM face. It’s believed that the Grand Alliance will also announce seat-sharing on Monday.
After the seat-sharing agreement within the NDA, Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram said, “We were waiting for them. We will now work accordingly. We’re all going to Delhi.” We are going there for party work. A decision will be made very soon after meeting there. Meanwhile, Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan said, “We will announce the seat-sharing tomorrow, Monday. There will be a meeting tomorrow, and everything will be finalized. The Grand Alliance is united. The current government and its corrupt government are sure to go.”
Seat allocation announced in the NDA
After a long tussle within the NDA, the seat allocation was finalized on Sunday. The BJP (101) and the JDU (101) will contest the same number of seats. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29 seats. Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha will contest six seats each.
