Traffic advisory has been issued for the next three days in Delhi NCR regarding Kanwar Yatra, please check the advisory before going out on these routes.

The traffic police is very cautious about the Kanwar Yatra in Delhi-NCR and special care is being taken to ensure that the Kanwariyas do not face any problems. There is going to be a lot of crowd in some areas on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday due to the Kanwar Yatra. That is why a traffic advisory has also been issued in this regard for the people. Due to heavy movement of Kanwar pilgrims, it has been decided to keep the Agra Canal Road closed for the next three days and people have been advised to use alternative routes.

What to do and what not to do according to the traffic advisory

Agra Canal Road (Kalindi Kunj to Faridabad) will remain closed from Monday (July 21) to July 23.

There may be traffic jam on Kalindi Kunj-Yamuna Bridge Road, so it is advised to use the alternative route of Road No. 13 and Mathura Road.

Along with following the ground staff, it has been said to follow the traffic updates.

Dak has been taken to ensure the safety and convenience of a large number of Kanwariyas.

Agra Canal Road and Eco Park Road will remain completely closed for vehicular movement.

Intermittent traffic closures and heavy congestion are likely on Kalindi Kunj-Yamuna Bridge Road.

Commuters travelling from Noida to Faridabad or Delhi are advised to avoid these routes.

Kalindi Kunj Yamuna Bridge Road and Agra Canal Road/Eco Park Road should be avoided.

Vehicles coming from Noida to Delhi or Faridabad can use Road No. 13 from Kalindi Kunj Junction.

Turn left towards Mathura Road/Faridabad Bypass Road. Then proceed towards your destination.

Plan before leaving for hospital, railway station or airport.

Use public transport as far as possible and follow the instructions of ground traffic police.
