Gwalior: Two youths riding a Bullet spread terror by firing indiscriminately at the toll plaza, demanding the construction of six lanes on the Bhind Highway. After the firing, the accused threw a slip at the toll office, which read “Either build the highway or remove the toll”. The incident was captured on CCTV camera and no one was injured in the incident. The incident is said to have taken place yesterday, i.e., Tuesday, at the Baretha toll plaza under Maharajpura police station. Rohit Kumar, a supervisor working at the toll plaza, informed the police that at around 5 pm, two people riding a Bullet from Bhind went towards Gwalior. One of them not only fired indiscriminately with a pistol at the toll plaza office, but also threw a note that literally read, “Either build the highway or remove the toll.”
No one will die like Akash Bhadauria.
The note read, “Even if politicians have to sell their flats, work on this highway must begin now. If work doesn’t begin, I’m ready to do something even more serious. The government has become blind. The death toll in this 80-kilometer stretch from Bhind to Gwalior is beyond limits.” The entire incident was captured on CCTV. No one was injured in the firing. However, the computer and furniture in the toll plaza office were damaged.
What the police discovered during the investigation:
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and recovered five empty cartridges and a note. After a preliminary investigation, police learned that a road accident case was registered at the Kotwali police station in Bhind district on February 15th, resulting in the tragic death of Bhind resident Akash Bhadoria. Reportedly, while Akash was taking his elder brother to his aunt’s house in Ater, a speeding truck struck the bike from behind, resulting in his death. Police have also named the tanker driver in the case. Currently, based on the complaint of the toll plaza supervisor, the police have registered a case against unknown suspects and have begun a thorough investigation to identify them using this clue.
