Leopard attacks are not decreasing in Udaipur district. Incidents of leopard attacks are being reported continuously in the areas adjacent to Udaipur city and in rural areas. The terror of man-eating leopard continues in the Gogunda Badgaon subdivision border area. Leopard has already made seven people its prey in Gogunda area. On Wednesday, a woman working in the field in Badgaon area was attacked, due to which the woman was seriously injured. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died during treatment. Eight people have lost their lives so far in the Gogunda Badgaon border area due to the attack of man-eating leopard.
A man-eating leopard attacked two women in a field near Bada Madar pond in Badgaon area of Udaipur, in which one of the injured women died during treatment. The woman was harvesting soybean crop on the field near the pond’s embankment. Another woman was with her. Suddenly the leopard sitting hidden in the bushes attacked both the women. One of the woman’s son was also nearby. When he saw it, he hit the leopard with a stick and chased it away. Both the injured women were admitted to the hospital, where one of the women died during treatment.

Actually, Mangi Bai Sen, KC Bai, KC Bai’s son and his wife, who live in Bada Madar area, were harvesting soybean. Suddenly, a leopard hiding in the bushes nearby attacked Mangi Bai and KC Bai, due to which KC Bai’s son Ganesh ran and chased the leopard away with a stick. Ganesh put both the injured women in a boat, crossed the pond and brought them to Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipur, where Mangi Bai died during treatment.
8 people have died due to leopard attack so far
Earlier, the man-eating leopard in Gogunda area had made seven people its victims, which included women, men and minor children. Now another woman has been made its victim. The forest department teams were constantly trying to catch the man-eating leopard, but still the man-eating leopard could not be caught. Many shooters were called, but still the leopard could not be traced.
