Ujjain: Every year lakhs of devotees gather at Ujjain Mahakal Temple in Madhya Pradesh. Devotees stand in long queues to see the Bhasma Aarti. But now the booking of Bhasma Aarti can be done 3 months in advance. The system has been changed regarding Bhasma Aarti. The application of 9100 devotees has been approved for the month of July.
Booking open for August, September and October
The application for Bhasma Aarti of 9100 devotees from 1 July to 31 July has been accepted on the website of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. Along with this, booking for the months of August, September and October has also been opened.
In fact, due to the continuous disturbances in Bhasma Aarti, devotees from all over the country were upset due to the opening of online Bhasma Aarti booking 15 days in advance. The window for online permission used to open 15 days in advance, which opened at 8 am and got full in a short time.
On receiving a complaint about this, a new system was implemented under the direction of Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh. Under which a rule was made to apply three months in advance. Under this rule, the temple committee accepted the requests of a total of 9100 devotees who had booked for the month of July on Saturday.
You will be able to plan to attend Bhasma Aarti in advance
Under the new system, devotees will now be able to plan their Bhasma Aarti in advance. In this, the booking for the next month’s Bhasma Aarti will be released on the first date of every month. Like the booking for the next July month has been released on June 1. Along with this, the booking of Bhasma Aarti will remain open for the next 3 months.
The information about the Bhasma Aarti booking will be sent to the mobile number given by the devotees. Devotees will have to deposit the prescribed fee within 24 hours. If the pass is not generated within 24 hours, the request of the devotee will be cancelled and the request of other devotees will be accepted on the basis of the merit of the waiting list.
