Shah’s 4 big points about Jammu and Kashmir in Rajya Sabha
Shah said, ‘Earlier terrorists used to come to Jammu and Kashmir and there was no festival when attacks did not happen. Even after Modiji came, attacks took place. There was an attack in Uri and Pulwama. In 10 days, Pakistan was responded to by entering the house and carrying out air strikes. The name of great India was added to the list of Israel and America in the world who take such action.
A yatra was taken out from Kanyakumari to Kashmir under the leadership of Murli Manohar Joshi. We were not getting permission to go to Lal Chowk. When we insisted, we had to go under the protection of the army and had to hoist the tricolor in a hurry and return. There was no house in the same Lal Chowk that did not have the tricolour on it in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.
We took many steps due to which the number of Indian children joining terrorists has almost come down to zero. When terrorists were killed, a big procession used to be taken out. Even today terrorists are killed and buried at the place where they are killed.
Someone from the family used to become a terrorist and the family members used to work comfortably in government jobs. We worked to get them out. The family members of terrorists used to sit in the Bar Council and protests used to start. Today they are in jails in Srinagar or Delhi.
