Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas (LJP-RV) has made serious allegations against Pashupati Kumar Paras. The Lok Janshakti Party (RV) on Monday blamed his uncle and political rival Pashupati Kumar Paras for the alleged mistreatment of former Union Minister late Ram Vilas Paswan’s first wife.
Attempt to evict Rajkumari Devi from ancestral house
LJP (RV) state president Raju Tiwari alleged that Paras and his late younger brother Ram Chandra Paswan’s wives recently tried to evict Rajkumari Devi (Ram Vilas Paswan’s first wife) from her ancestral house in Bihar’s Khagaria district. Ram Vilas Paswan married Rajkumari Devi 20 years before marrying Chirag’s mother Reena.
Chirag Paswan intervenes in the matter
State president Tiwari said, ‘As soon as our national president (Chirag) came to know about this development, he asked Prince Paswan (Ram Chandra Paswan’s son) to go to his native village Sahar Banni and take stock of the situation.’
Rajkumar Devi was asked to leave the house
Tiwari said, ‘We have been told that the room allotted to Rajkumari Devi has been locked and she is being asked to leave from there. Paras, who claims to worship the late Ram Vilas Paswan, is responsible for misbehaving with his elderly and ailing sister-in-law, but we stand in support of Rajkumari Devi.’
No complaint lodged with the police yet
No complaint has been lodged with the police in this regard yet. Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party chief Paras could not be contacted for comment. The latest dispute is being seen as part of the ongoing tussle between Chirag and Paras over the possession of the ‘political legacy’ of Ram Vilas Paswan, one of the top Dalit leaders of Bihar.
