Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Sunday that the killing of three people in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir is a matter of great concern. He said that terrorists may be involved in these killings. On Saturday, the bodies of three people were found near a waterfall in a remote area of Billawar tehsil of Kathua. The deceased have been identified as Darshan Singh, Yogesh Singh and Varun Singh.
According to officials, these three went missing on March 5 while returning from a wedding ceremony in Lohai Malhar of Billawar tehsil. Varun Singh is the youngest among the three deceased. He was 15 years old. Darshan Singh and Yogesh Singh were relatives of Varun Singh.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that terrorists brutally killed three youths in Bani area of Kathua. This is extremely sad. At the same time, it is also a matter of concern. There seems to be a deep conspiracy behind spoiling the atmosphere in this peaceful area. He said that we have discussed this matter with the concerned officials.
The Union Home Secretary himself is reaching Jammu so that the situation can be assessed on the spot. Jitendra Singh said that I am confident that it will be ensured that such incidents do not happen again and people’s faith remains strong. Jitendra Singh is a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Udhampur.
No marks of injury on the bodies
Officials said that after a lot of hard work the bodies were removed from the spot. They said that in the initial investigation the possibility of a terrorist incident has been ruled out because there are no marks of injury on the bodies. They said that the real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem.
