During his visit, UN Ambassador Dr. Evans Kwadio Afedi visited the Aushadh Manav (Health Forest), the Jungle Safari, and other tourist attractions. He was warmly welcomed by officials and briefed on the major tourist destinations in the region. Dr. Afedi praised the development of the region, saying that the way Kevadiya has been developed into a global tourist destination while maintaining balance with nature is truly commendable.
He said, “The Statue of Unity is not just a monument; it is a symbol of unity, vision, and national pride. He found himself filled with peace and joy in the beautiful natural lap of the Statue of Unity.” During his visit, he also met with a local official and learned about the role of plants and nature on human health.
