Aligarh: There was a commotion in a factory in the Roravar police station area of the district today, when the women and men working there started fainting one after the other. Suddenly, all the people came out of the factory in a hurry. When information was sought, it was found that there was a gas leakage there. The unconscious people have been admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Police administration officials have reached the spot along with the fire department. The fire department team is trying to control the gas leakage. It is being told that the gas coming out of the factory is ammonia. This gas backed up from the valve in the pipeline, after which this leakage occurred. This factory exports Fair Exports meat.
People were working in the factory
Actually, some women and men were working in the evening in a meat factory named Fair Exports. Suddenly they started feeling dizzy and fainted. Some other people also started having problems. After this, all the people came out and the unconscious people were sent to the hospital. The number of people who fainted is being reported to be 7, which includes 6 women and one man. The police administration was informed about the matter, after which the administration reached the spot.
Gas leakage in meat factory
Additional District Magistrate Nagar Amit Kumar Bhatt said that this is a meat factory. In the evening, information was received that ammonia gas leaked, after which our team immediately reached the spot. It was told that there was a leak of four-five minutes from the valve. There was a packing area where it was being frozen. Next to it was the packing area, there were some women there, they had irritation in their eyes and some problem. A total of 7 people have come here. There are 6 women and one man in it. All are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Everyone is fine and the situation is under control there too. An investigation report has been sought from our entire technical team. We will get their factory investigated.
