The case of Naib Tehsildar Ghanshyam Shukla’s attempt to misbehave with a female officer is not very old yet that another case has also come into discussion. A female officer has made a serious allegation of molestation on Devendra Singh, an assistant clerk posted in Vikas Bhawan and who walks with the CDO like a shadow. The DDO immediately suspended the accused.

The female officer has made serious allegations on Devendra Singh, a steno clerk posted in Vikas Bhawan. The female officer alleges that the Babu tried to misbehave with her several times, but the female officer let him go after giving a warning every time. Despite this, when he did not listen, she complained about this matter to the District Magistrate. Here, seeing the embarrassment of the department, the DDO has immediately suspended the accused.

CDO suspended the accused officer
The woman officer said in the complaint letter to the District Magistrate that for some time now, the concerned assistant has been harassing her continuously. From time to time, he keeps making indecent gestures which she was ignoring every time. Many times he also asked to meet alone, in the complaint letter, the woman officer told that on the evening of May 21, Babu came to her room and started discussing the main points being prepared for the arrival of the Chief Minister in the district.

The woman officer said that even after the discussion was over, he kept sitting with her. Sometimes he kept staring and sometimes smiling. Not only this, he also harassed her by sending obscene messages through mobile. On the instructions of District Magistrate Andhra Vamsi, the DDO has formed a four-member team to investigate the matter. In the report, clerk Devendra Singh has been found guilty prima facie, on the basis of which he was suspended and then reinstated and attached to Vikramjot block.
