UP Accident:-In Meerut, a 24 feet high Kanwar collided with a high tension line, seven Kanwariyas were burnt

In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a 24 feet high Kanwar collided with a high tension line. Seven Kanwariyas got burnt in this incident. The incident took place near Baghpat flyover in Meerut. It is being told that a group of Kanwariyas was passing through the flyover carrying a 24 feet high Kanwar. Then the Kanwar came in contact with the high tension line and seven Kanwariyas from Delhi got badly burnt due to the electric shock.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, a crowd of people gathered at the spot and the high tension line was immediately shut down. The police reached the spot and admitted the injured Kanwariyas to the hospital.

Kanwariyas came in contact with electric current
SP City Ayush Vikram Singh while giving information about the accident said, “This incident happened near Baghpat flyover in TP Nagar area. A group of Kanwariyas was carrying a 24 feet high Kanwar. Then suddenly the Kanwar got electric shock after coming in contact with a 35 thousand volt high tension line in which three Kanwariyas got severely burnt and some Kanwariyas got minor injuries. All of them have been admitted to the hospital.”

Kanwariyas were going towards Delhi with Kanwar from Haridwar
According to the police, the 24 feet high Kanwar was made of wood due to which a big accident was averted. Let us tell you that all the Kanwariyas are residents of Shalimar Bagh Haiderpur in Delhi. They were going towards Delhi with Kanwar from Haridwar. During this accident, the Kanwar also caught fire.
