Lucknow Murder: News of the death of 5 people on the occasion of New Year has come to light in the capital Lucknow. Accused Arshad (age 24 years) killed five members of the family in Hotel Sharanjit located in Thana Naka area. After this heartbreaking incident, the accused was immediately arrested by the police. On the occasion of New Year, the accused killed four sisters and mother.
The incident that took place in Hotel Sharanjit located in Thana Naka area of Lucknow on the first day of the new year is heartbreaking. The accused has killed his mother Asma along with sisters Alia (age 9 years), Alshia (age 19 years), Aksa (age 16 years) and Rehmin (age 18 years). The accused youth Arshad is said to be from Agra.
Police reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received
As soon as the information of this incident was received, senior officials and local police immediately reached the spot and started necessary action and the field unit is also being called and evidence is being collected. Accused Arshad has been arrested from the spot and detailed investigation and further legal action is being taken in this case.
What did DCP Raveena Tyagi say
On this murder case, Lucknow DCP Raveena Tyagi said that today on Wednesday (1 January 2025) an information was received from Thana Naka area. In which it was told that the bodies of 5 people have been found in the room of Hotel Sharanjit, as soon as the information was received, the local police immediately reached the spot. After this, a young man named Arshad, who is a resident of Agra, was taken into custody.
Murder due to family feud
DCP Raveena Tyagi said that the accused told during interrogation that he has killed his mother and 4 sisters due to family feud. Further interrogation is also going on and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The field unit is also being called and evidence is being collected and soon further information will be told.
