Jhansi: On 20th June, a passenger was beaten up by supporters of BJP MLA Rajiv Singh Paricha from Babina, Jhansi in the Executive Class E-2 of train 20172 Vande Bharat Express going from Delhi to Bhopal. The video of which is going viral on social media. In this viral video, it can be seen how brutally the passenger was beaten up.
An 18-second video is going viral on social media. In which it can be seen that about half a dozen people are beating the passenger with slaps and slippers inside the coach. Let us tell you that Babina MLA Rajiv Singh Paricha was travelling with his wife and son from Delhi to Jhansi in this coach. They had a dispute over changing the seat in the coach. The dispute had increased so much that Rajiv Singh’s supporters reached Jhansi railway station and after the train arrived, entered the coach and beat up the passenger. The video of which is now going viral.
The MLA had filed a case against the victim
Actually, BJP MLA Rajiv Singh Paricha and his supporters were accused of assaulting an elderly man over changing seats in the Vande Bharat train going from Delhi to Bhopal. However, the MLA had earlier rejected these allegations outright. Also, in this case, the MLA had filed a case against the victims. It was told that, Rajiv Singh Paricha, MLA from Babina, Jhansi, was traveling from Delhi to Jhansi with his son and wife in the Vande Bharat train, a dispute broke out between the MLA and the passenger over changing seats. After this, Rajiv Singh’s supporters entered the coach when the train reached Jhansi railway station and beat up the said passenger. The video of the assault on the passenger inside the Vande Bharat train was made by another passenger and it is now going viral. However, this incident has also raised questions about the safety of passengers in the train.
