Ambedkar Nagar: During the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas organized in Akbarpur tehsil of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, there was a stir when a woman complainant tried to commit suicide by pouring diesel on herself in front of the officials. As soon as the woman poured diesel on herself, the officers present there were shocked. The woman has alleged that her residential land has been handed over to someone else on the pretext that the map has been amended, while no information was given to her.
The SDM said that the case is going on in the civil court and the woman has taken such a step to create unnecessary pressure. Legal action is being taken against the woman. Let us tell you that in Akbarpur tehsil of Ambedkar Nagar, the officials were listening to the complaints of the people during the Sampoorna Samadhan Divas, meanwhile a woman started attempting suicide by pouring diesel on herself. As soon as the woman did this, there was a commotion there. The police personnel present there stopped the woman from setting fire and calmed her down by extinguishing it. After this the woman has been taken into custody.
The woman has alleged that her registered land has been captured by the opposition. The opposition is saying that the map has been transferred. After this, excessive action was taken and demarcation was done by placing wrong stones. The woman said that when she had appeared before the DM a month ago, the DM had ordered investigation within 24 hours and disposal, yet no action was taken.
In this regard, Deputy District Magistrate Akbarpur said that the extent of the woman’s land had been changed and if she has any objection on it then she should go to the concerned court. By taking such steps here, they are creating unnecessary pressure. A case is going on in the civil court where she can get relief by pleading. Tehsildar had gone to the spot on the orders of DM.
