UP: An FIR has been registered against Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party President Swami Prasad Maurya at Wazirganj police station in Lucknow. A case has been registered against former minister Swami Prasad Maurya for making indecent remarks against Goddess Lakshmi and posting on social media. A case has been registered against Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party chief Swami Prasad Maurya for making indecent remarks, crime number 95/2024, under section 153 (A), 505 (2) IPC and section 67 of the IT Act 2008.
On the orders of MP-MLA court, a case has been registered against Swami Prasad Maurya in Wazirganj police station. While being the National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party, Swami Prasad Maurya had made a controversial comment on his ex. Now, after the order of MP-MLA court, an FIR was registered against the former minister regarding this matter. Complainant Ragini Rastogi alleges that a statement of Swami Prasad Maurya published in newspapers on November 15 last year has hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus.
According to Ragini Rastogi’s complaint, Swami Prasad Mauy had written in a post on Instagram that when people of different religions were born with two hands and two legs, how could Lakshmi be born with four hands. The complainant had alleged that Swami Prasad Maurya had hurt the sentiments of Hindus by making similar statements on several occasions.
Let us tell you that Swami Prasad Maurya has an old association with controversies. Earlier, he had also given controversial statements regarding Ramayana and Ram temple.
