UP: Official of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that preparations are being made to celebrate Basant Panchami festival on 14th February on a grand scale in Ram temple, list of 12 important dates is ready.

Ayodhya Basant Panchami 2024: Preparations are on to celebrate Basant Panchami festival on a grand scale on 14th February in the newly constructed Ram temple located in Ayodhya. For this, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has prepared a list of various Hindu festivals which can be celebrated in the temple on 12 important dates of the year. An official of the trust gave this information. Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri said that after Ram Lalla is installed in the temple, now preparations are being made to celebrate all the religious events and festivals according to Hindu traditions. The Trust has prepared a detailed list of festivals.

He told that Ram Navami is an important festival for Ayodhya and before that comes the festival of Basant Panchami. This festival is celebrated in different ways depending on the region. Saraswati Puja is also done on this day. Giri told that apart from this, Sita Navami, Narasimha Jayanti, Sawan Jhula Utsav, Janmashtami, Vijayadashami, Sharad Purnima and then Diwali will be celebrated on a grand scale. He told that festivals like Vivah Panchami and Makar Sankranti will also be celebrated with grandeur.

Preparation to resume temple construction works
Meanwhile, after the consecration of the temple, preparations are being made to resume the stalled works of the temple. Two towers are being erected in the western part of the temple. Workers will also reach here for construction work from 15th February. The construction company ‘L&T’ has also started preparations for this. Rohit Bhatia, a marble expert associated with the construction of Ram temple, said that after February 15, all the workers will return to their work.

The work of rearranging the machines installed in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex has been started so that the work can start after the arrival of the workers. About 3,500 workers are being employed for the construction work. Trust member Anil Mishra said, “The work on the first floor of the temple is almost completed. Now the work of second floor and peak will start. We have made preparations to resume the work to complete the construction on time.”
