UP Politics:The one equation that Akhilesh Yadav has the most confidence in to contest against Prime Minister Modi and BJP in the Lok Sabha elections is PDA. But in the voting for Rajya Sabha elections, this same PDA cheated Akhilesh Yadav so much that his third candidate Alok Ranjan remained dreaming of Rajya Sabha and BJP’s Sanjay Seth won.
So, how did such a big game happen with Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA, is only BJP responsible for this or is Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA formula not as strong as Akhilesh Yadav has been claiming to be?
In Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA formula, P means backward. D means Dalit and A means minority. That means it is obvious that Akhilesh is not ahead in Yadav’s formula. So whether it is Manoj Pandey or Rakesh Pandey and Vinod Chaturvedi, all of them are Brahmin faces and they are not part of PDA. So their rebellion can be understood. Be it Abhay Singh or Rakesh Singh, they also come from the Thakur community and they too are not part of the PDA, so their rebellion may also be acceptable to Akhilesh Yadav.
But what about Pooja Pal? She is a SP MLA. P in Akhilesh Yadav’s formula PDA represents backward. But she also left SP in the Rajya Sabha elections and voted in favor of BJP. Gayatri Prajapati used to be very special to Mulayam Singh Yadav. His wife Maharaji Devi is also an MLA from SP. In the PDA formula, he is also P i.e. backward. But she did not reach the House on the day of voting for Rajya Sabha elections. If you did not vote, BJP benefited from it. This vote also reduced in favor of Akhilesh’s third candidate Alok Ranjan.
As far as D of PDA is concerned, the mistake has been made by D i.e. Dalit also. And that name is of SP MLA from Bisauli Ashutosh Maurya, who belongs to the Dalit community. In the Rajya Sabha elections, he too did not vote for SP candidate Alok Ranjan and voted in favor of BJP candidate Sanjay Seth. So D has also been removed from Akhilesh. And now the matter is about the last shareholder of PDA, A i.e. the minority, whether it was done intentionally or unknowingly, the minority has also caused harm to Akhilesh Yadav.
And the one who is going to cause harm is Bareilly MLA Shahjeel Islam. He voted, but wrote PP on the ballot paper. And because of this, Shahjeel Islam’s vote was rejected, which directly benefited BJP. The remaining two minority MLAs were also with RLD, who voted in favor of BJP. And Akhilesh Yadav had to be content with defeat. So in this way, by breaking Akhilesh Yadav’s formula PDA, BJP confirmed its third seat in Rajya Sabha.
As of now, PDA test has been done in Rajya Sabha. There is still one more test of PDA left before the Lok Sabha elections. And this is the test of the Legislative Council, where elections are to be held on March 21. And in this election also SP hopes that it can win at least three seats. And for this Akhilesh Yadav can also bet on PDA candidates only. But whether PDA will support in voting also, Akhilesh Yadav might have got the answer to this from the voting in Rajya Sabha. That is why Anupriya Patel has claimed that the real PDA is with NDA.
