Aligarh: A painful incident has come to light from Aligarh, UP. Here a house located in Amirnisha area under Civil Lines police station area suddenly caught fire due to short circuit. During this time, an elderly person present in the house died tragically on the spot due to the fire. On receiving information from the local people, the area police and fire personnel controlled the fire with the help of the local people, by then the old man had died.

Many families live in Asgari Lodge, one of the most residential areas of Aligarh. At the same time, 75-year-old Khurshid Alam, who runs a shop by the name of Samreen Photo Studio in Ameer Nisha, also lived with his family in Asgari Lodge. Apart from wife Saheeda, there is a son and two daughters in the family. He himself was suffering from paralysis.

His two daughters are married and his son lives outside. At present, due to illness, his wife runs the shop. Khurshid Alam was sleeping on the bed in his room, while his wife was sleeping in the adjacent room. A fire broke out in the house due to a sudden short circuit. Due to the fire, the bed and other valuables kept in the room were burnt to ashes and Khurshid Alam also died tragically.

Police did not find any important clues
According to Inspector Civil Line, no important clues have been found other than short circuit. At present, prima facie the case seems to be of short circuit. After taking possession of the body, the police have sent it for post-mortem and have started further action. Rameshchandra, who lives in the neighbourhood, says that lights are cut for 4 to 5 hours every day.

The neighbor said that there was no light at the time of the incident, if there had been light then all the houses would have had summersables installed so that at least the fire could have been controlled. The elders were screaming from inside during the fire, but the fire became so severe that they did not even get a chance to save themselves, and they died due to suffocation due to the flames and smoke.
