US China Tariff War: There has been an uproar in the global market in the last few days after Trump’s tariff policy. There has been a huge decline in the stock markets of Asia and Europe. In response to Trump’s tariff, China imposed a tariff of 34 percent on America. Due to this action of China, Trump threatened to impose a 50 percent tariff on Chinese imports. Now China’s response has come to the fore on this.
China said – will fight till the end
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday (8 April 2025) that if the US ignores the interests of China and the international community and insists on starting a tariff war and trade war, then China will fight till the end. The US President said that if China does not withdraw the additional tariff imposed on American goods in response to his initial tariffs by tomorrow (Tuesday 8 April 2025), then he will impose a 50 percent tariff on Chinese imports by Wednesday.

On this, the Chinese spokesperson said, “The abuse of tariffs by the US has seriously infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of various countries, seriously violated the rules of the World Trade Organization, seriously damaged the rule-based multilateral trading system and seriously affected the stability of the global economic system. This is typical unilateralism, protectionism and economic bullying and is widely opposed by the international community. China strongly condemns and strongly opposes it.”
China imposed additional tariff
China’s Finance Ministry said on Friday (April 4, 2025) that an additional tariff of 34 percent would be imposed on all goods imported from the US from April 10. China had described the US tariff as bullying and said that it would not only harm the interests of America but would also endanger global economic development and supply chain.
