US President Donald Trump said on ‘Truth Social’ that attacks on Yemen’s Houthi rebels will continue as long as they pose a threat to shipping, warning that they will suffer real pain in the near future.

After warning Iran of heavy bombing, US President Donald Trump on Monday vowed to continue attacks on Houthi bases in Yemen and cause them and their Iranian supporters “real pain” until they stop all aggression towards US ships. He said that attacks on Yemen’s Houthi rebels will continue as long as they remain a threat to ships. He warned the Houthis and their Iranian supporters that they will have to face real pain in the coming times.

Threat given on ‘Truth Social’
The US President has given this threat on ‘Truth Social’. He claimed that the attacks carried out by the US in the last two weeks have caused great damage to the rebel group. Trump said, “The Iran-backed Houthi terrorists have been decimated by continuous attacks over the last two weeks. Many of their fighters and leaders are no longer with us. We attack them every day and night.

‘The US military is carrying out strong attacks every day’

He also said, “As long as they remain a threat to our freedom of navigation, the attacks will continue. The choice for the Houthis is clear – stop firing on American ships and we will stop firing on you. Otherwise, we have just started. The real pain is yet to come for both the Houthis and their supporters in Iran.”

How was the plan to attack Yemen leaked?

His statement comes at a time when his government is surrounded by the leak of a group chat on the messaging app Signal between US officials regarding the attack on Yemen. An American journalist was also included in this group chat. Who got information about the attack in advance. Whenever Trump is asked about the chat leak scandal on Signal, he repeatedly says that the US attacks on the Houthis have been successful.

The Atlantic magazine revealed last week that its editor was accidentally included in a group chat in which top US officials were discussing air strikes on Yemen. The group also included US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Defense Minister Pete Hegseth, who mentioned the timing and intelligence of the air strikes.
