US President Donald Trump on Wednesday held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the war. After this conversation of Trump, it is believed that the war going on between Russia and Ukraine for 3 years can now end. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the conversation with Trump as meaningful.
Zelensky wrote on the social media platform X about the conversation with Trump that we have talked for a long time about the opportunities to achieve peace. Our readiness to work together at the team level and the technical capabilities of Ukraine have also been discussed.
What did Trump say about the conversation?
Zelensky said that I have just spoken to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the conversation was very good. He, like President Putin, wants to make peace. We discussed various topics related to the war, but mainly, the meeting is being held in Munich on Friday. Where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the delegation. However, it is not clear how much Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be involved in these discussions.
He further said that I hope the results of that meeting will be positive. Now the time has come to stop this ridiculous war. Where there has been unnecessary death and destruction on a large scale. God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine!
Zelensky met the Treasury Secretary
After talking to Trump, Zelensky also met USA Treasury Secretary Scott Besant. Explaining this, Zelensky wrote on X that we value our partnership with America, are grateful to them for their support in protecting our freedom and especially try to expand our joint capabilities in security. <
War going on between Russia and Ukraine for 3 years
There has been a war going on between Russia and Ukraine for the last 3 years, in which thousands of people have died. Ukraine’s power system has been badly affected in the war. There have been no peace talks since the early months of the war.
Then-US President Joe Biden and most Western leaders did not have any direct talks with Putin after Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. US President Trump has taken steps to stop this war.
