Uttar Pradesh: A horrific accident in the morning in Kannauj, a bus full of passengers was hit hard by a truck, 4 people died in the accident, 34 people were injured.

A horrific accident took place in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning. A bus full of passengers collided with the divider. Then the bus was hit hard by a truck. Four people died in the accident, while 34 people were injured. The bus was going from Lucknow towards Agra. As soon as information about the accident was received, a police team reached the spot and got the injured admitted to the hospital.

The accident happened on Lucknow Agra Expressway passing through Thathiya area. The collision between the two vehicles was so severe that the bus was blown to pieces. The injured have been admitted to the medical college. The condition of some people remains critical.

There was a jam after the accident
The bus was going from Lucknow towards Agra. The truck was filled with potatoes. The bus was a sleeper there. As soon as the information was received, Additional Superintendent of Police Sansar Singh reached the spot along with his team. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway. However, the police removed both the vehicles from the road. During this period, there was a situation of chaos on the spot.

Doctor Dilip Singh of Medical College said that 34 injured people had come to the hospital, out of which 4 people have died. The condition of some is serious. He is being referred to Kanpur. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment. Pawan Saini, resident of Sant Kabir Nagar, the injured passenger, says that he had booked the bus ticket online.

The bus wavered two-three times between 1 am and 2 am in the night, due to which we feared that the bus driver might be drunk. But the compulsion was that the bus could not be changed. I was sleeping early in the morning when there was a loud noise. The middle seat slid up to the driver’s seat. It was lucky that my life was saved.
