The name of the youth who set himself on fire is being told as Munna Vishwakarma. The youth is a resident of Sahadatganj police station area of ​​​​old Lucknow. The youth has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition where he is undergoing treatment. The youth had accused the Alambagh police of assaulting him. When the youth’s plea was not heard, he set himself on fire in front of the Legislative Assembly.

The youth had made serious allegations against the Alambagh police. The youth alleges that the police took him to Mawaiya outpost several times and beat him there several times. The youth Munna was having a dispute with the owner of Bengal Tent House regarding money transactions. After the dispute, the victim had given a complaint in Alambagh police station, but it is alleged that the police did not register a case.

The youth was unable to pay the child’s fees
The youth was struggling with financial crisis due to this money transaction. It is alleged that due to the dispute with the owner and not getting the money, the youth was unable to deposit his child’s school fees. Also, when he went to the police station, his pleas were not heard. After this, the police beat him up several times. The young man was so hurt by this that he broke down inside. After this, he could not find any way out and he tried to commit suicide.

The young man had already come after pouring petrol
According to police sources, Munna used to work in Bengal Tent House located in Alambagh. He was facing difficulty in running the house due to the tent house owner not paying him. The young man was so troubled by the financial crisis that he reached in front of the Vidhan Sabha in Hazratganj area of ​​​​Lucknow. Police say that the young man had already come after pouring petrol and after going in front of the Vidhan Sabha, he lit a matchstick and set himself on fire. According to the information received from the doctors, about 50 percent of the body of the young man has been burnt, he has been kept in the Intensive Burn Unit where he is undergoing treatment. At present, the DCP has taken cognizance of the matter and it is being said that an investigation will be done in the matter.
