Samajwadi Party MP Babu Singh Kushwaha on Sunday addressed the 26th annual function of Bhadohi Maurya Vikas Samiti. During this, he talked about the abolition of the caste system and said that the caste system should be abolished to end all the problems in the country. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had talked about reservation on social basis in the Constitution and reservation on economic basis is unconstitutional.
Babu Singh Kushwaha is a Samajwadi Party MP from Jaunpur and founder of Jan Adhikar Party. He alleged that for the upcoming assembly by-election, the BJP government has removed all the officials including BLOs and appointed people of a particular caste and this election is being fought not only by the BJP but the entire administration. Reacting to the recent violence in Bahraich district, he said that people are wise and this incident will not have any effect on the by-election. He also said that the SP stands with MLA Zahid Beg, who has been arrested in the case of abetting suicide.
Students were honored
Along with this, during the ceremony, Babu Singh Kushwaha honored 380 capable students of 10th and 12th by giving them bicycles, tablets, Buddha’s statue and a citation letter and encouraged them. Along with this, 6 teachers were also honored. Apart from this, he also talked about the right to vote and said that people win the election by taking our votes and become the masters but they do not give us what is our right.
Uttar Pradesh by-election
By-elections are also near in Uttar Pradesh. There is an election atmosphere in the state and meanwhile Babu Singh Kushwaha’s statement came to the fore. SP and Congress are fighting the by-elections together just like the Lok Sabha elections. Although there was a lot of commotion between the two parties for many days regarding seat sharing, but now a deal has been made between the two that Congress will contest on two seats and SP will contest on the remaining seats.
