A shocking news has come out from Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Dheeraj Singh, Superintending Engineer, Saharanpur Vidyut Vitran Mandal 2, held a virtual meeting with his subordinates in which information was being obtained on the recovery of dues from consumers. In the meeting, the juniors told Dheeraj Jaiswal that some houses are always found closed. The residents of these closed houses work in other states, so they are not able to recover the dues. To this, the Superintending Engineer replied that set fire to the locked houses. The juniors were shocked to hear from their top officer whether it is justified to set fire to a consumer’s house for electricity dues.

When the people of the department informed Isha Duhan, MD of Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam about the viral video, she ordered an inquiry with immediate effect. After the investigation was found correct, Saharanpur’s Superintending Engineer Dheeraj Jaiswal has been suspended.
Videos of virtual meetings go viral
As soon as Saharanpur’s Superintending Engineer was suspended, videos of his virtual meetings started going viral on social media.
