Uttar Pradesh: During mining on the mountain in Mahoba district, a part of the mountain suddenly caved in and fell into the mine, so far four laborers have died in the accident, two are in critical condition, three tractors including a pokland machine are buried under the debris.

A major accident occurred during mining on a mountain in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. During mining work, suddenly a part of the mountain collapsed and fell into the mine, where about 15 laborers were working. In this accident, the district administration has so far confirmed the death of four laborers, while the condition of two remains critical, who have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment, while three tractors including a Pokland machine are still under the debris in the accident. are also buried. The administration is still engaged in the rescue operation by installing two Pokland machines and searching for the laborers buried under the debris as a precautionary measure.

This painful accident has happened in Kabrai, known as Pathar Mandi in Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that the lease of DRS mountain in Pahara village under Kabrai police station area is in the name of Dhanraj Singh. More than a dozen laborers were engaged in mining work on this mountain on Tuesday. Workers were digging holes for the blast on the mountain, when suddenly a part of the mountain caved in and fell into a 500 feet deep mine.

Many laborers buried, rescue operation continues
As soon as part of the mountain collapsed, there was panic among the workers. Before the workers could understand anything, many workers were buried under the debris of the suddenly fallen mountain. As soon as the information about the accident that occurred during mining on the mountain was received, there was an uproar among the family members of the workers and within no time the entire village gathered on the mountain. The mountain operator fled from the spot after the accident. As soon as the information was received, DM Mridul Chaudhary, SP Aparna Gupta, divisional commissioner and IG reached the spot.

Team formed to investigate the accident
Regarding this tragic accident, the fire brigade team along with the police of four police stations are engaged in the rescue operation, in which the bodies of four laborers Rammilan Kushwaha, Ramphool and Pyare and one other have been taken out from under the debris, while two other laborers Kailash and Dhiru has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. DM Mridul Chaudhary and SP Aparna Gupta are present at the spot with heavy police force. A team has been formed by the DM to investigate the cause of the accident.

Assurance of all possible help to the families of the workers
DM Mridul Chaudhary told that there is a lease of the said mountain, in which mining was going on, when the accident happened. Three laborers have died in this accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated. As a precautionary measure, the rescue operation is still going on on the mountain. The DM also said that the government and administration will provide all possible help to the families of the deceased labourers.

CM Yogi expressed grief over the accident
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences on the accident and assured all possible help to the families of the workers. Neeraj, an eyewitness laborer present at the time of the accident, said that all the laborers were working as laborers on the mountain as usual. While drilling a hole for blasting in the mountain, a part of the mountain suddenly collapsed and fell into the mine, causing a tragic accident. Many laborers saved their lives by running away, but three people died and two laborers are admitted in the hospital, who are undergoing treatment.
