The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 9 IAS officers late on Monday night. Social Welfare Department Secretary Sameer Verma has been made Inspector General of Registration. Bhupendra Chaudhary posted in the Public Works Department has been made Commissioner, Fertilizer and Logistics Department.

Similarly, Hiralal, State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana has been given the responsibility of Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies. Secretary RERA Pramod Kumar Upadhyay has been made Commissioner of Sugarcane and Sugar Department. While Sugarcane Commissioner PN Singh has been put on waiting list due to going on a two-month leave.

Home Department Secretary Vaibhav Srivastava has been made Managing Director PCDF. B. Chandrakala has been made Secretary Panchayati Raj. She will also have additional charge of Women Welfare Department. Special Secretary of Urban Development Department Amit Kumar Singh has been made Director of Panchayati Raj Department.
