Uttar Pradesh: Horrific road accident in Bulandshahr between a Max pickup and a bus, nine people dead so far in the accident, more than two and a half dozen people injured

A horrific road accident has taken place in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. A Max pickup and a bus have collided head-on here. So far nine people have died in this accident. While more than two and a half dozen people are injured. Among them, the condition of about half a dozen people is critical. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and admitted all the injured to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the post-mortem house and their families have been informed.

All the injured and the deceased are said to be residents of Aligarh. According to the Bulandshahr police, all the people riding in the Max pickup were originally from Aligarh and worked in a reputed biscuit company located in Ghaziabad. On Saturday night, they were going to their village Aligarh via the Badaun-Meerut State Highway to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a pickup. As soon as their vehicle reached near Salempur in Bulandshahr, a bus coming from the front hit the vehicle.

The death toll may increase

According to the local people, the vehicle was so fast that the entire pickup entered the bus. The sound was so loud that a large number of people who were sleeping in their homes woke up and rushed to the spot and informed the police. According to the police, the accident is quite big and the death toll is likely to increase further. DM CP Singh reached the spot. At present, all the injured have been taken out of the car and admitted to the hospital. The bodies are being post-mortemed. The family members of the deceased have also reached the spot after getting the information. DM Bulandshahr Chandra Prakash Singh, who reached the spot after getting the information, enquired about the condition of the injured and directed the CMO for better treatment.
