In-laws put pressure for halala
According to reports, the girl, a resident of Noorpur village of Didarganj police station area of Azamgarh district, was married to Abuhuraira alias Faisal in April this year according to Muslim customs. It is being told that gifts and cash were given at the time of farewell in the marriage. The woman alleges that the in-laws were not satisfied with the goods received from her parents. After this, her husband divorced her by saying talaq, talaq talaq three times. After this, the woman was asked to do halala. Even after the relatives tried to convince her, the in-laws started pressuring her to do halala.
Rape was done in the name of halala through conspiracy
It is being told that the in-laws conspired and got the woman raped by her brother-in-law Mursleen against her wishes in the name of halala. The woman alleges that even after getting halala done with her brother-in-law, the in-laws did not accept her. After being rejected by her in-laws, the woman met city police chief Mithlesh Kumar Mishra. After listening to the woman’s story, the city police chief registered a case against her husband, mother-in-law Chanda, sister-in-law Shama, sister-in-law Rabia Bano, brother-in-law Saddam, brother-in-law Mursleen and 7 other people and arrested Mursleen. The police is searching for other accused.
