In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a Dalit minor girl was molested by two youths. The girl was playing racket outside her house. Then two bike-riding youths Monish and Aarish molested the girl. After this, when the victim and her family reached the accused youths’ halwa paratha shop to complain, the accused, along with their family, poured hot oil on the victim and her family and beat them up. After this, there was a fierce fight between the two sides with sticks and stones were also pelted.
During this, someone recorded a video of the fight and uproar between the two sides, which is now going viral on social media, in which screams can be heard and sticks can be seen being used after switching off the lights. The incident is of March 20. The police had registered a case against the accused Monish, Aarish, Shahzad, Wasim, Salman, Sameer, Parvez, Ashu alias Bahl, Qasim, Nazim in this case and started further action. After this, when the video of this incident went viral on Saturday, the police immediately arrested a named youth in this incident and said that the rest will also be arrested soon.

The victim girl alleged, “I was playing racket outside the house in my street. Then two boys came from behind on a bike. He hit me on the shoulder from behind, then I screamed very loudly. My sister was also there at that time. She also saw and she screamed. Hearing our voice, father and brother also came down from upstairs. In the meantime, those people abused me and left. After this, we went to the police station to complain, but initially our complaint was not heard”
Allegation of attack on 25-30 people
The girl further said that after this we went to the shop of the accused to complain, where they poured hot oil on us. They switched off the lights and beat us. When we protested, their family members also came and 25-30 people attacked us. The girl also said that her brother, uncle and father were injured in the fight, after which the police registered a case.
Efforts to arrest the accused
CO Sadar Devvrat Vajpayee said that the fight that took place under Charthaval police station area, its video went viral on social media. A case has been registered in that matter. Today, a named accused has also been arrested. Efforts are being made to arrest the rest. Soon all the accused will be arrested.
