The double bench of Allahabad High Court has given a big decision in the case of recruitment of 69 thousand primary teachers in Uttar Pradesh. The High Court has canceled the entire merit list of recruitment. The High Court has ordered the government to prepare a new merit list within three months, in which the Basic Education Rules and Reservation Rules are followed. Regarding this, now SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the UP government and BJP by giving a statement on the social media site X. On X, he wrote, “69000 teacher recruitment also ultimately proved to be a victim of BJP’s scam, scam and corruption. This is our demand that a new fair list be made, so that transparent and fair appointments can be possible and the education system disrupted during the BJP era in the state can come back on track.

What is the controversy?
Actually, in the month of December 2018, an advertisement for the recruitment of a total of 69000 teachers was released in Uttar Pradesh. Under this recruitment, 4 lakh 10 candidates appeared for the examination in the year 2019. In 2020, the result of this examination came and 1 lakh 47 thousand candidates passed. Among them, there were 1 lakh 10 thousand candidates from the reserved category. Now the double bench of Allahabad High Court has ordered the cancellation of the entire merit list in the 69 thousand teacher recruitment.
