Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held an important meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, ministers in charge of districts and officials of the BJP organization regarding the by-elections to be held on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. During this, extensive discussions were held and strategies were prepared regarding the assembly by-elections to be held on all 9 seats. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also determined the responsibilities of ministers and officials to win the by-elections on all 9 seats. Let us tell you that by-elections were to be held on 10 seats of the state, but due to the case of Milkipur seat of Ayodhya being in the court, elections are not being held here right now.
‘Ensure victory on all 9 seats’
During the meeting, emphasis was laid on strengthening mutual coordination between ministers and officials. It was also decided that in the by-election, no leader of the party should leave any stone unturned in discharging responsibilities in his assigned area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that winning the by-election will not only be an electoral success but a victory of public trust, so work should be done with full loyalty and dedication to ensure victory on every seat.
CM Yogi has asked for accurate management at the booth level.
‘Accurate management is necessary at the booth level’
CM Yogi instructed the party leaders and workers to handle the election management strongly up to the booth level. He said that every seat is important in the by-election and for this accurate management and monitoring at the booth level is necessary. CM Yogi instructed the leaders to remain active in their respective areas and go among the people at the grassroots level and hold Chaupal. In the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that the problems of the public should be understood and resolved through Chaupal so that people’s confidence in the party increases.
‘Establish direct communication with the people’
In the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed that the ministers in charge and officials should spend more time in the districts where by-elections are being held. He said that by going to these areas, talk directly to the people, listen to their problems and also ensure immediate solution. Yogi said that the election preparations should be further strengthened by coordinating with the local officials of the districts. On this occasion, BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary also took stock of the party’s preparations and boosted the morale of all the workers.
By-elections are to be held on these 10 seats
Let us tell you that out of the 10 seats on which by-elections are to be held, 5 were with SP and 5 with NDA alliance. BJP had 3 seats, RLD had one and Nishad Party had one seat. SP had won Katehari, Karhal, Sisamau, Kundarki seats in 2022. Milkipur seat of Ayodhya was also in the account of SP, for which the date has not come yet. Apart from this, by-elections are to be held on Phulpur, Majhawan, Ghaziabad Sadar, Khair, Meerapur seats. UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Surya Pratap Shahi, along with many senior ministers of the state and BJP officials including the minister in charge were present in the meeting.
