Why is the search going on?
In fact, a few days ago, a case was registered against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan and his son for allegedly assaulting and threatening petrol pump personnel. The video of this incident also went viral on social media. UP Police has registered a case against both of them for assault, attempt to murder and robbery along with a salesman and other employees at a petrol pump located in Sector-95, Noida on May 7.
Non-bailable warrant issued
UP Police has also got a non-bailable warrant issued from the court against AAP MLA Amanatullah, his son Anas and Abu Bakar. Noida Police officials have sought information from Delhi Police about the criminal history of the AAP MLA, his son and associate Abu Bakar. The police have increased the section of the Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe Act in this case.
Amanatullah’s manager arrested
UP Police on Tuesday raided three places in Delhi in search of MLA Amanatullah Khan, his son and one other but they were not found. On Monday, the police had arrested AAP MLA Amanatullah’s manager Iqrar Ahmed in this case. Earlier, Noida Police had also reached Amanatullah Khan’s house on Saturday in connection with the assault at Sector-95 petrol pump in Noida. Police have also pasted a notice at the AAP MLA’s house.
