Uttar Pradesh: UP STF arrested Farooq Aman, an accused who cheated in the name of CM Yogi Adityanath’s personal secretary, from Kamta Tiraha

The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested Farooq Aman, who cheated people by posing as the personal secretary of the Chief Minister, from Kamta Tiraha here. The STF gave this information on Friday. A statement issued by the STF said that Farooq Aman, a key member of the gang that cheated people by posing as the personal secretary of the Chief Minister of the state and operated online gambling, was arrested late Thursday night. He is associated with a gang that takes money and lures people to pass competitive exams and operates online gambling.

Fraud in the name of CM’s personal secretary
The accused Farooq Aman (26) is from Sahriya village of Azamgarh. Two mobile phones, Aadhar card, ‘work print out’ and many other documents have been recovered from his possession. The statement said that the STF was getting information that a fake WhatsApp account has been created by posing as the personal secretary of the Chief Minister, CUG numbers of high officials have been added to it and people are being offered money to lobby with the officials and help them pass various competitive examinations. This work was done in an organised manner.

Police took action
During the investigation, it was found that Farooq Aman, the main associate of the kingpin of this gang, is present in Lucknow. On this information, the team arrested Farooq Aman late Thursday night near Kamta Tiraha Awadh Bus Stand. A case has been registered against the arrested accused in Cyber ​​Crime Commissionerate Police Station Lucknow under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the provisions of the IT Act. Further legal action in the case is being taken by the local police. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that fraud is being done by posing as an officer of a politician. Such incidents have come to light before this as well.
