The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big decision. In fact, government employees and employees associated with government services in Uttar Pradesh will not be able to go on strike for the next 6 months. A government order has been issued regarding this. This order has been issued using the powers under subsection of section three of the Uttar Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act 1966. It has been said in this order that for the next 6 months, employees associated with any service of the government will not be able to go on any kind of strike. It has been told in this order that the decision has been taken keeping in mind the public interest.

State government’s decision before the strike

Let us tell you that the Yogi Adityanath government of the state has taken this decision at a time when the employees of the electricity department in Uttar Pradesh were going to go on strike on December 7. The state government has banned strikes in the state for 6 months using Essential Services Maintenance Act or ESMA. Let us tell you that this rule issued by the state government will be applicable to all government employees, government departments, corporations and corporations of the state government. Let us tell you that there was already a possibility of the employees of the electricity department going on strike regarding the Public Private Partnership model.

When the employees called for this strike, the Power Corporation became alert and the senior officials of the government were informed about this matter. After this, the state government has taken this decision by showing promptness. Power Corporation Chairman Dr. Ashish Kumar Goyal had already given orders to start arrangements for this by writing a letter to the District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioners, Police Commissioners and Captains. After this, the Power Corporation has breathed a sigh of relief after the decision was taken by the state government.
