Uttarakhand: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Uttarakhand have lodged an FIR for tarnishing the image of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. BJP workers allege that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has violated propaganda and code of conduct by editing the video. BJP’s IT department official has lodged an FIR by giving a complaint to the police at Dalanwala police station in Dehradun.
The BJP has lodged a complaint against the Aam Aadmi Party for tarnishing the image of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the party and violating the election code of conduct. The incident is said to be from Delhi where CM Dhami was giving his interview to a TV channel. During this, the journalist suddenly asked him something else while CM Dhami used to answer him about something else. The video of this entire incident was released in social media. After which the BJP on Wednesday complained to the police in Dehradun for tarnishing the image of CM Dhami. It has been told in the FIR that there is evidence against the accused.

Regarding this entire episode, Praveen Lekhwar, State Co-convener of IT Department on behalf of the party, has alleged that an edited video is being circulated on social media by the AAP party as part of a conspiracy to tarnish the image of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the BJP. BJP alleges that the Aam Aadmi Party’s social media cell has tampered with the video of a statement given by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami during the election campaign in Delhi.

This edited video shows that the CM is accepting the boycott of BJP by women, while this is absolutely wrong. This video is being circulated from a post in the name of Aam Aadmi Party in social media Instagram, which is being described as a violation of the Model Code of Conduct. BJP alleges that the issuer of this post has tried to tarnish the image of Chief Minister Dhami and the Bharatiya Janata Party along with inappropriately influencing the Lok Sabha elections.
